BARC is located on the University of Florida campus on the third floor of the Psychology Building on Center Drive.
Parking
There are a limited number of parking spots available on the south side of the Psychology Building for research participants, including BARC clients. Parking in these spots requires a specific parking pass. If you will need a parking pass, please contact us at least 3 days before your arrival, and we will do our best to reserve a spot for you. Parking is also available for a fee at the nearby UF Welcome Center Garage on Museum Ave.

Why should you support the BARC?
- According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the prevalence of autism is increasing and now affects 1 in 59 children.
- Autism is the fastest growing serious developmental disability in the United States.
- More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes, and cancer combined; however, it receives less than 5% of the research funding of many less prevalent childhood diseases.
- Autism costs the nation $126 billion per year.
- It is estimated that the cost of autism over the lifespan is $3.2 million per person.
