Why should you support the BARC?

  • According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the prevalence of autism is increasing and now affects 1 in 88 children and 1 in 54 boys.
  • Autism is the fastest growing serious developmental disability in the United States.
  • More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes, and cancer combined; however, it receives less than 5% of the research funding of many less prevalent childhood diseases.
  • Autism costs the nation $126 billion per year.
  • It is estimated that the cost of autism over the lifespan is $3.2 million per person.

  • Sponsor a Treatment Room: $500 Annually
  • Sponsor a Child: $1000-$5000 for 3-12 months of treatment
  • Technology (iPads, software, cameras, etc.): $600
  • Sponsor a Graduate Student/Behavior Analyst: $5000 per semester
  • Graduate Student Travel: $250-$500 Annually
  • Name a Treatment Room: $25,000 One-time gift
